UBUNTU 24.04.1 LTS: FIRST POINT RELEASE AVAILABLE (UPGRADE NOW)

This is the first point release of ubuntu 24.04 LTS available for download. The new ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS includes bug fixes, security patches, and other improvements. Ubuntu initially released the 24.04 LTS build in APRIL as a new ISO. However, this release encountered several issues, leading to complaints from users about stability problems. To address these issues, ubuntu has now released the point update.

A no-name bluetooth dongle I own that refused to work with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS no matter how many tutorials I followed worked out of the box with the latest Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS release, so that's something I am truly happy about.
That saved me the hassle of purchasing those hard to get (in my location) "Linux compatible" dongles such as those from Edimax.

I tried upgrading to it yesterday from 22.04 LTS and it bricked my drive; I had to restore from drive image I took beforehand. Error I got was white screen with "On no! Something has gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can't recover. Please contact a system administrator." Not impressed! 6th Gen X1 Carbon.

Probably this is the correct place to ask, but is this point release natively compatible with Wayland on the latest NVIDIA GPU drivers? If not, could you make a specific video on how to change form X11 to Waylad whether possible while running NVIDIA drivers?

Does the installer support installing on LVMs now? I has to use the Ubuntu Server installer and then install the GUI afterwards.

Bro, my screens color looks a bit off on Linux. I don't have much color critical work so I don't need to worry much but can you suggest me an app that could make icc profiles on the basis of me checking and correcting the color to match my phone which is very color accurate. I don't want to buy a colorimeter.

I've installed this version of ubuntu but now i am facing issue, when i am closing my laptops lid my laptop is not locking, screen is always on, sometimes it is getting locked and sometimes not ! Earlier i had Jammy Jellyfish in that it was working fine ! Can someone please help.
