How to change a gearbox on a London Transport Routemaster bus--Pt2

Something a bit different now, a 'how to' type vid. Part 2 in a series of 9 vids we will see how to change a gearbox on a London Routemaster bus. Unlike London Transport who had Aldenham Works with its body lift crane or a well equiped bus garage, this was done on a flat surface with the gearbox coming out upwards into the saloon! The joys of preservation is not just the driving around in an historic vehicle, it's the general upkeep and major engineering jobs that crop up and have to be dealt with. So grab a cuppa, sit back and let two daft buggers show you the (not so) hard way to do things.........The replacement gearbox had been refurbished by a small, independant repairer to a very high standard, whose details are below. I was worried they would round that union nut. I have these Metrinch spanners that grip the sides eliminating possibility of rounding them though I'm not sure mine go to 24mm.
