As a former teacher, I can't imagine any adult's talking to a group of children at a school or any other organization just to start to complain about their own life. Had I been director of Girls Inc., I would have tried to get Nutmeg out of there as soon as possible.

This is why I get annoyed when people claim that Nutmeg is intelligent. Intelligence requires thinking and learning from your mistakes. Not recognizing that her situation has changed (lies exposed, world wide audience) and seeking to repeat the Oprah sympathy shows a person of very limited intellect in my opinion. These charities which still allow her a platform, however, are even more intellectually challenged.

It was a terrible message to send to those young people. “Oh you think you have it bad? Mine’s worse. If I was a parent I’d be furious with this dangerous messaging undermining my child.
