NITE Team 4 Review | Hacking simulator

NITE Team 4 lets me live my dream of being an ethical hacker and it's amazing. I really enjoyed everything about the game and the attention to detail is amazing. The voice acting and missions are so much fun! It's like using a magical hacking app but a lot of the terms and methods are based in real life. I don't think it would be useful to learn hacking but it's fun anyway.

Something similar to this would be excellent for an asymmetrical coop stealth game. Where one player is "in the field" playing a boots on the ground 3rd person stealth game like Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid. Whilst the other player is their "guy in the chair/voice in the ear", the missions support personnel, the technical operations officer, the remotely connected hacker, the Grímsdóttir to Sam Fisher, the Otacon to Solid Snake.

I'm sorry to say, I gave up on this, soon after the "training" ended. Just laziness I guess. But, as an old DOS user, I have a little quibble with "typing into a terminal" in the review, there are plenty of point and click Windows elements.(I guess Linux desktop is now good enough to call them small "w" windowing elements, after all, Un*x had "windows" first!) Older hacking games like Hacknet, and if I remember right, Uplink, are literally typing into a terminal. there's also a game Retro Hacker, which I think is the same. And If you think you see a pattern in my game interest, I have no idea what you're talking about. It's all in your imagination! And, old Zachtronics games are better for a real programming experience. They have the best Solitaire games as well!
