Due to consistent narrative of base gyomei being the strongest base hashira it puts him above base obanai so it just upscales koku and marked Gyomei

Now for 2nd scale

Base Obanais Reaction Speed ~ Base Muzans Combat Speed > Ls Kokushibo > Marked Gyomei >~ Base Kokushibo >~ Base Gyomei

This scale wanks base obanai above Kokushibo but I don’t believe it at all. Also muzans attention was only on one or two other people and we don’t know if your combat speed is lowered when your attention is on one or two people, it only hinders reaction speed

I can actually see where this comes from with the Muzan fight. However, base Gyomei is stated to be above all base Hashira, including Obanai, and again Base WHM≠Kokushibo via plenty of evidence that I’ve given. Gyomei had better feats than even marked Obanai in the entire fight, considering he actually managed to blitz Muzan unhelped.

Obanai’s sword would not even do much. As his strength is almost the weakest and was ranked close to Shinobu, was even ranked below a 14 year old. Since Shinobu is too weak to sever. Strength=ap. Obanai is weak. Meaning his muscle density isn’t as good compared to everyone else period. Marked Gyomei reacts to serious koku.
