I think what Kyle said -- starting at: 01:27 -- was MUCH more important than Ted Cruz. Kyle's point that ultra conservative religious leaders take the worst most harmful conservative positions and make THAT their religion is VERY important to drive home!

We've all seen it. They create and cite passages from the Bible that aren't even IN the Bible (they call it inspiration from the Holy Spirit). So they are making their religion up as they go along!

It is interesting that these leaders will claim that atheism, secular humanism, evolution, and science are religions -- when none of them are, and no one but these leaders and their followers think this.

Yet on the OTHER hand, their own religion -- which they want to be the law of the land -- is NOT based on the wisdom of their holy books.

It is based on the worst and cruelest parts of their scriptures -- which just happen to coincide with their ability to wield power and make lots and lots of money -- which will certainly not be used to help the poor and needy.

Meanwhile, there are other, more mainstream and kind hearted Christians and churches that are struggling desperately to help the needy, the sick, and the elderly, and they get NO recognition or assistance from society or the media. They are ignored.

Only these televangelical CHINOS get the attention for their outrageousness.

I think THAT is the story that needs to get out there!
