Defensively its important to get the shoulder next to your chin which allows u to bounce a lot of the shots coming on your shoulder. Combined with head off the center its a good defense if u dont want to always roll. A lot of times i prefer staying balanced and in position instead of rolling which unbalances slightly or at least makes u shift the position.

Thanks for the video! I want to share my experience. In some cases, it is worth reducing the impact force by sacrificing range and weight transfer. This will significantly increase the punch speed and will almost certainly allow it to hit, which will bring huge advantages. It's not worth hitting this punch the same way every time.
