Moon Boots feat. Nic Hanson - Clear (Official Music Video)

Moon Boots returns with his latest single ‘Clear’ (feat. Nic Hanson), the third single off his highly anticipated upcoming album Bimini Road. Pivoting into a slinky broken beat groove this time around, ‘Clear’ is late-night electronic funk at its best, with a superlative vocal from Nic Hanson and lyrics that appeal for clarity amid today’s complicated relationships. The song will be accompanied by a boldly kaleidoscopic retro-graphic video directed by Jordan Rosenheck.

As Pete of Moon Boots relates ‘When Nic and I started working on (previous Moon Boots’ song) ‘Keep The Faith’, he was still a student at NYU, but mature beyond his years. Nic’s always been passionate about music from all over the world and fearless to try anything. We wanted to make our next collaboration something different for both of us; it was Nic’s idea to make ‘Clear’ a UK Garage song and we ran with it. I’m just a fan of Nic and I’m excited to watch him grow as a person and an artist.’

Singer Nic Hanson recalls ’the process of creating ‘Clear’ was so seamless, Pete sent me some instrumental ideas and the melodies just came quickly. When I was writing the lyrics in the studio I was in the process of coming out of a haze I had been in for a little bit, and I felt like I was finally returning to being able to create without forcing it. That effortlessness on both ends translated to a really clean energy when we were making it. The video shoot was the same way - professional, easy, beautiful, and smooth. The whole thing felt like the best possible way the creative process can go down.’
