I can't tell you how happy I am Chris won. As a blind person I am often tarnished by association with all the negativity that surrounds disability but Chris has done something absolutely incredible, and has done it all while being completely true to himself. He's a shining example of what you can achieve against the odds and his winning Strictly will do an untold amount in raising awareness of the fact that us as blind people still have goals, dreams, capabilities and the ability to achieve anything we set our minds to. Dianne was clearly an incredible teacher and has inspired me to seriously look into learning to dance, not necessarily for the dance itself but as a means of learning visual expression. I just need to find a teacher as good as Dianne!
