When you close your eyes
And you go to sleep
And it's down to the sound
Of a heartbeat

I can hear the things
That you're dreamin' about
When you open up your heart
And the truth comes out

You tell me that you want me
You tell me that you need me
You tell me that you love me
And I know that I'm right
'Cause I hear it in the night

I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep
I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep

When I hold you in my arms at night
Don't you know you're sleeping in the spotlight
And all your dreams that you keep inside
You're telling me the secrets
That you just can't hide

You tell me that you want me
You tell me that you need me
You tell me that you love me
And I know that I'm right
'Cause I hear it in the night

I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep
I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep

I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep
I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep

When you close your eyes
And you fall asleep
Everything about you is a mystery

You tell me that you want me
You tell me that you need me
You tell me that you love me
And I know that I'm right
'Cause I hear it in the night

I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep
I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep
I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep

I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep
I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep
I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep

After seeing the movie, I have to say the symbolism with this song clearly shines through.

Lore-wise, this is even period-appropriate music, Talking In Your Sleep hit the charts in '83. 😎

I'd do anything for Kellen Goff, Joe Gaudet, Amber Lee Connors, and Christopher McCullough sing this as Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.

Chica: Leading Abby to a springlock suit to kill her
Mike: Thinking of how to save her sister from giant Chuck Cheese animatronics
William: Waiting ominously at the front door to make one of the best villian's entrance in cinema in his suit.
Meanwhile Bonnie and Freddy:

This song hits with hits big with Mike. His recurring dreams and the lyrics. You can kind of put the context together. He does figure out the mystery towards the end. Vanessa's identity, his brother's dissapearence, and Springtrap.

Just took my sons to see this last night. I'm 54 years old and was 16 when this song aired in early 1984. Glad to see a movie use and musically educate young people today about great classic rock!

I don’t see how people disliked the movie. As far as video game movies go, I’d say it was a pretty faithful adaptation. Plus they were respectful of the games and the fanbase, with little nods and easter eggs scattered throughout, it was everything a FNAF fan could want. The only other video game movies that were this faithful to the source material were the Super Mario Bros movie and the Mortal Kombat movie.

It's interesting that they chose this song, the Rockafire Explosion used to perform it and judging by how the trailers have blatant references to Showbiz Pizza, safe to say this was a nod to that as well. It's a nice touch!!

Unpopular opinion: the movie was amazing. Maybe not for a horror movie but the movie it’s self is wonderful. The animatronics were possessed by kids. Why would they seriously wanna hurt someone? It was all a trap from William afton. Just be grateful you got a movie please. Have a lovely day everyone😊

It's hard to believe that 10 years ago a man name Scott hearing that his beaver was scary decided to give us a scary game thinking that it was over little was he aware of the explosion he set off. After million's probably billions of jumpscares, 1000s of hours of theories, 11 games in the main series and alot of books FNAF will hit the big screen

I want to thank everyone for the likes and also after a successful box office hit a sequel is in development so as Funtime Freddy would say ARE YOU READY FOR ROUND 2?

Fazbears entertainment has invited you to attend the grand reopening of Freddy's Fazbears Pizza coming December 5th 2025

theres a few thing’s that i LOVED about the film 1-) They HUMANIZED the animatronic’s with the “fort” scene. they are CHILDREN, and at the end of the day, They ARE playful and i REALLY liked that about the film. Ever since the FIRST game, the animatronic’s seemed (apart from voice lines and a few minigames/fact’s) to be mindless, killing machines with no emotion, so seeing them like that in the film, put another perspective on the film.
2-)For the first time, se SAW the animatronic’s perform on video, with a classic 1980’s song. Since help wanted, people have been wanting to see the animatronic’s perform on stage with music (since the showtime button on that game, doesn’t work) so it was also nice to see that for the very first time in a official way!

Edit: Why so many likes people 😅??? i was just expressing my opinion

This song actually represents Mike's journey in the film. The song is about falling asleep and dreams, but more specifically secrets being kept with in them. This mirrors how mike recreates Garrett's kidnapping in his dreams every night to try to remember who kiddnapped him

I never even heard of this song until the fnaf movie teaser trailer. Now it became one of my favorite 80's songs. It's a pretty good catchy song and goes pretty well for a game that started it's main story plot in the 80's and it's 80's aesthetics.
I even decided to put that song in my fnaf song playlist 😄

IMAGINE JUST WATCHING THE FNAF MOVIE AND IN THE OPENING THIS STARTS TO IDK, PRODUCE?
JUST LIKE HALLOWEEN ENDS WITH MIDNIGHT MONSTER HOP

EDIT: there is footage from 1984 of the Rock-afire Explosion, the band from Showbiz Pizza Place, playing this song. Mind blowing.

I like to believe that the pre-chorus is Mike's brother's words, in a way.
"You tell me that you want (to avenge) me. You tell me that you need (to learn who took) me. You tell me that you love (what you remember of) me."

But the phrasing, the fact that it's Mike just _saying_ these things, implies it's not what he actually wants or needs. A significant, if not the main point of his arc is letting go of the past, abandoning his quest to find out who took his brother, and instead focusing on Abby, the here and now.

Even in his dream, where the fantasy of reuniting with his family reappears, where the illusion of his Mother voices his worst fears, he can't let go of Abby. The possessed animatronics simply repeat it, in a vain hope that Mike will let them have the first new friend they made in decades.
