Sonic Colours Ultimate - Sweet Mountain Act 1

We run through the first Act of Sonic Colours Ultimate's second world, Sweet Mountain. We recorded this during a playtest of the game offered by SEGA, and it's been edited to remove technical issues related to our recording equipment (not the game). Enjoy!

I like the tech style that the level remixes have, but the trumpets are kinda what made sweet mountain, well, sweet mountain

Sweet mountain act 1 is my favorite song in the original game, the remix is good but it’s not as N I C E as the original

The boost gauge is bugged… When it’s full of boost, it still has a little bit of space left over.

Here's a mistake I spotted: at the start of the level just as the Hub appears for a few frames the drill icon is in the color power keeper but then instantly disappear

The beginning of the song is meh, but the rest of the song is a banger.

The atmosphere of sweet mountain make me feel like I watching a muffin meteorite just floating in space

Looks really good but please for the love of enerjak tone down the blurring when boosting, that crap hurts the eyes

Personally I like all of the remixes although some are clearly better than others (Aquarium Park for example)

remix is pretty good, can feel more the bass and the drums, also the piano is not annoying as the act 2 remix
Would prefer the same to tropical restort remixes, those ones are trash lmao

God the Sweet Mountain remixes are particularly underwhelming. The music’s been stripped of all its energy. It seems like what they’re doing is using a combination of the original soundtrack and the remixes so there are now six unique renditions of each level’s theme instead of just three, but I’m still hoping there’s an option to only use the originals because god they fucked the Sweet Mountain themes so hard

The graphics are definitely much better, But the sound is still so screwed up. The audio balancing is all over the place, Some sound effects are louder than others, or others are quieter than others. Plus that same stupid bug where dash pads, dash rings, rainbow rings and I SWEAR I heard it on the trick jumps, all have a spring sound effect attached to them, like...why and how is that even a thing.

To be honest the song is just inferior to the original, not bad by any means, but the original is way more energetic and alive

I Like the remixes. I really prefer the main song for sweet mountain tho but we can buy the original ost so there is no reason to be upset.
