I'm glad you mentioned the headset having a more neutral sound because alot of reviewers stated they didn't like the cloud 3s sound and felt the cloud 2s were better. I purchased the 3s before seeing them reviews and thought I made a mistake in my purchase so I ordered the 2s as well just so I could compare them both giving me a day apart from each other to test.

I my personal opinion upon using the 3s I could tell straight away that the sound felt cleaner, picking up more detailed sound and not blowing your ears off. Granted the dts x I didn't like, it felt So rather than using the inbuilt dts x I tried the app version which sounded better, I then tried dolby atmos also and I felt that was even better and with a custom eq on there these things sounded great.

The 2s just felt over powered, yes they are louder than the 3s but distorted loud in my opinion. I had to turn these down to 66% for most things.

I tried these for a day and went straight back to the 3s and noticed the difference. I chose the 3s over the 2s.

They just sounded better.

I'm keeping both though, there both good headsets😊

I've owned a HyperX Cloud II since 2016 and it's the best headset I ever had! Can't wait to get my hands on the Cloud III!

I've had a cloud alpha for like a year at this point, the original earpads gave out and I bought the wicked cushions gaming one, gotta say it improved the comfort experience massively, plus the sound it's got is so freaking incredible

Just bought the Cloud 3 after returning Razer blackshark v2x due to faulty wire. I wasnt even aware cloud 3 existed until few hours ago so i figured double the price and the good things i hear about cloud 2.. i gave in to the hype and decided to be an early adopter of cloud 3 hoping it reaches new heights like cloud 2 did.

7:18 When I configure an equalizer on PC and then plug in the Cloud 3 into a Console directly with the USB connection, is the equalizer still in effect?

I got the Cloud 3, upgraded from the first Cloud 2 version. In-Game the sound of the Cloud 3 Headset is really "muffled"? Like i would be underwater or something. On the Cloud 2 the Sound was so clear .... i try to fix it but i can't, very sad because i like everything else on the headset but if the sound doesnt work for me i will switch back to the old once :(

So do these have the same audio quality as the Cloud 2 ?
I love the quality the cloud2 had in general although I had issues with them like one arrived with a missing screw, didn’t think it was a big problem until 1year later they snapped, I then went on to buy another set of cloud2 and they arrived bad, one side wasn’t producing audio and I went above and beyond to make sure it wasn’t some dumb setting on my Pc or any cable not properly connected… I did try to get a replacement since they did told me I applied for one but they never gave any clear instructions of where I need to send it back ( no address or anything ) I was then ghosted for like 10days and gave up, they did contact me 2 days later after I gave up ( so 12 days into this situation ) but I was completely broken, love the products they deliver just the customer service isn’t that great…
Edit; if anyone knows if there’s a fix to it please let me know I still have them brand new inside the box and everything just gathering dust in some corner of my room.

Hello, im currently using logitech pro headset, not the Pro X, so it hurts in the lower side of my ear. I think the clamping is too strong. Is hyper X cloud 3 can be alternative? Thanks

Razer Blackshark V2 X to me was the most comfortable headset for a long time...until I tried on the HyperX Cloud III in the store and realized that it's even
more comfortable...and it has a removable mic...and it has a volume dial on the cable itself. Only thing I'm unsure about is the sound. The Blackshark
has a deep bass while this one appears to be more flat from what I've heard so I don't know. I'm definitely curious. It's very comfortable to wear.
