Excellent! Well worth the wait. Yes definitely confirmed I'm Dark Autumn. Sometimes tricky over here to get the right shades of colours, e.g. right shades of purple and yellow but now I know better I will avoid buying shades that do not suit me just because they're on trend or being sold at most stores - I'll keep looking till I find the right shades that complements us Dark Autumns. One thing I've realized when it comes to evaluating contrast on dark skin is that the "skin finish" or the highlights on the skin are an important factor, moreso than eyes and teeth.

Nyma Tang for example has very luminous skin, with the highlights on her skin being bright and shining, contributing to her being a clear type. More matte skin will read are more muted/less contrasted.

Another thing to consider for dark skin people is the contrast of our eyebrows and lip color. If your lips and eyebrows are muted/blended with rest the skin, it will lower your perceived contrast.

This was the most helpful video on this topic I've seen. It’s so enlightening to see how the application of this season varies from individual to individual even though they are all dark autumn. For example, how the brighter colors/shades looked beautiful on Ryan and deeper, muted ones looked more cohesive on Jasmine. Game changer 👍🏾
