What is cleft palate?!!! Things you should know about cleft palates!!

when a dog has a cleft palate it because very difficult for the dog to eat. You then have to personally feed the dogs for up 3 weeks every two hrs but until they can survive on there on and still have to get them surgery at six months old.

Let me say as a breeder of Frenchies, most breeders don't even speak of their cleft palate puppies, they just put them down and move on. This breeder is being honest, showing you what it is about, educating!! I would trust him completely! When I had a cleft palate, I was told not to speak of it, to put the baby down....Nope! She is thriving and doing great, small cleft, filled in on jt's on. Not all are able to be that way, so depends on size. Thank You for your honesty Sir. Keep doing what you are doing.

Just had 2nd litter, 1st time was 10 healthy happy Frenchies, this litter is 6 pack, 1 Lil cleft girl. She is small, but feeding every 3 hours, 4ml, gradually increasing as we go... I will fight as long as she does. 2 days old.
