South america has always been dominant in football, it's just that the South Americans are playing in European Leagues as they offer lots of money

The crazy thing is that it doesn’t stop there. South America literally have 47 copa americas compared to Europe’s 0. true domination 😱

Serbia with 6M also won the U20 WC.
It amazes me more that Croatia, country with 4M habitants reached the final of the senior WC, thats another level

Fun Fact: Uruguay had won the U-20 World Cup in Argentina this year.
Before that, the senior team had already won it in this soil before, in form of Copa America back in 2011.

Man Italy 🇮🇹 have become the nearly men of 2023. Losing to Argentina, Missing the World Cup, 3 clubs in UEFA finals, all lost. 👀

There is a Brazilian player who alone has more world cups than all European teams except Germany and Italy 💀

Soccer in South American is like a religion to them, it feels like it’s a must play sport for the Latin’s there.

We feel football with our hearts.

While it may not sound like much, playing against Bolivia or Ecuador at over 3000m above sea level, against colombia in a permanent 30+ degrees celsius, against 50 thousand or more in La Bombonera. Even the middle of the pack teams can take on the best teams in the continent. Our local teams might not be as expensive, but they create the players that later become stars in Europe, Flamengo or River could compete against good european teams and sometimes surprises happen in libertadores and sudamericana and great players come out of those surprises.

The intensity of southamerican football is something most people don't get until they get to watch a Boca vs River match or when they understand the geography and culture of our continent

South American always dominated every competition, even Copa Libertadores champion usually won against UCL champion. Mbappe is young, and he said what he saw in the last 20 years.

Imagine if Brazil Argentina or Uruguay are invited to the Euro they will definitely win it

I don’t blame europe tho. They had nearly two decades of dominance in the football world. It’s time that their dominance ends. South America are at a very good moment right now because many European teams are building new generation of players. (Belgium golden generation dying, Spain has a whole new young roster, Germany as well etc) so it’s a perfect opportunity for South America to be on top as of current. It no doubt europe will bounce back believe this!

South America has always been the powerhouse of football. If we weren't as economically corrupted our domestic leagues would be as or even more watched than Europeans
