I never pick cannibal, but then I always set cannibalism to accepted. Why waste all that free food and cowboy hat material, that literally delivers itself to your front door?

how to not pick canibalism
just realize that funnier builds exist
if you got no bravery for mods
use debug mode and make your own colony with literally eating being abhorrent

Since Ideology dropped, I have two colony themes I tend to stick to:

-Mercantile medieval city state
-Esoteric candy cult masquerading as a university, hospital, or corporation
-FULL COMMUNISM

And I haven't forgotten I installed Royalty, I simply acknowledge that I bought Royalty solely so I could get all the mods to work.

I tend to play my own ideology with transhumanist and stuff. Canibal is an easy gain, but transumanist with quality bionics mod and crafter dude that always make 220% legendary organs, nd +3 perma mood buff is nice as well.
I made it in 1.3.1 something when those in positions did not have limited jobs, and it still holds.

How could i forget. Psylinks and a crown are much needed for the king. I rarely do not use canibalism. But when i do only acceptable.

I am an absolute simp for royalty since I love the whole feudal type thing it has going on.

My issues with Ideology is that it synergizes with the game which means it doesn't really have a HUGE impact. And the fact that with it you either get stuff that either;

A. Doesn't do anything aside from a minor bonus and or absolutely rare ceremonies which barely impact the game.

B. Hurts your overall performance and is just there to make the game harder which I don't see the point of considering mods exist.

C. Gives you an 100% buff to everything and everyone associated with you with the trade off of "I don't have a preacher" early game
