How To Reshaft Golf Clubs

One of the most asked questions about golf club work is how difficult is it to reshaft golf clubs, specifically a driver with an adapter. THP TV went right to the experts at UST Mamiya to have them show a step by step guide to reshafting a driver, and these instructions can be used to reshaft any golf club.

The places to find us for tons of contests and events.

Easy peasy. Watching Danny makes me wonder why it took me so long to get up the guts to do my own shaft work.

I have never tried to install a shaft before, but this video makes me pretty confident that I could do it without destroying something. I love the special Danny Lee "tap" at the end. Makes a lot of sense if you have seen some of his other videos.

Danny makes it look so easy! Watching him prepare the iron shafts in the first UST Shaft Up video, I was amazed at how quick/efficient he is. Like the more is better than less advice for sure.

Never done any clubwork myself. This video makes it seem easier than what I expected to be involved. Not sure I'd ever do it myself though, but cool to watch.

Interesting stuff. I've never done anything with my clubs other than re-grip them. I really liked the use of the magnifying glass in the video to get a close up of the application of epoxy.

I have put new grips on my clubs but have never done new shafts. I enjoyed the video and found it helpful

Love this video and really wonder why I don't start doing this work myself. Danny does a great job not only showing us how it's done but also teaching us how to do it!

I thought I was reshafting clubs correctly, but Danny's video shows the proper way to do it obviously. The one thing that stands out is how little epoxy is required. I have been wasting epoxy! I tried some heads recently and got a much better bond using less, and the set was quicker too. I would still love to see a Master ply his trade in person. Very educational. Thanks for sharing this.

Awesome vid, been wanting to learn but was hesitant and just didn't have the right tools. I will get the necessary tools and material try on my own. Danny does a great job, making it easy to reshaft a golf club. Thank you!!!!

I REALLY REALLY need to get a driver with the adapter. This will make trying/changing new shafts SOOOO much easier. Great vid, though, I've never seen this done before.

I have never personally done this but for something that is so hard he sure makes it look easy

Great job by Danny explaining this and really makes it look pretty simple and not overwhelming to someone that may have never done this before.

I've always thought the 24 hour stuff was better but Danny made it seem like either is great. I definitely like the sound of 30 mins later being on the range though!

I have never had clubs built for me and I have never tried building clubs myself so this was very interesting to me. It actually looks pretty straight forward, if you know what you are doing (I don't...) I didn't realize that much epoxy would be used. Thanks for the video.

Would really like to start looking into doing my own clubs, from grips to shafts and these videos make it look really simple (though his experience also makes it look too easy)

Danny makes that look too easy, going to have to give it a try soon, maybe when my UST COOL shaft arrived!!
