Ivan, one thing I think was worth mentioning is that the A7 Lite offers 4GB of RAM if you get the 64GB model. I don't know that it makes much of a performance difference, but I think it is worth mentioning. The regular A7 does not have that option.

Back again because you're my go to for a good tablet. Hopefully you'll see this in time before I check out my cart. Is the bigger A7 the better tablet for Zoom Classes. My budget doesn't allow for S6Lite I have that one I love it. I need something for my son. Front Camera and memory is a plus.

Ivan I just heard from C. Butler that on the Tab A7 you can now move Apps to the SD Card if you have one installed! He said he has the August 1 Security Update.

I just got the 64 gb version with 4 gigs of ram no issues at all yet. I just wanted a good decent basic tablet to surf and watch YouTube plus it was on sale for $129 at best buy

Ahhhh! I need to be able to take notes, with an active stylus, on an 8" tablet. I was very disappointed when you said it wasn't designed for that. And since it's primary use will be to sit around in my purse between doctor visits, I don't want to spend a lot of money. On the upside, you made it to 30k! :) :) :)

Quick question. How do I change the touch sensitivity on my Tab A7? Every enquiry says go to settings, language, scroll down to touch sensitivity. That's not on my tablet. I just bought it last November so it's the recent model. TIA.

I enjoyed your review, it was helpful in determining which tablet to chose and insightful! Here's a comment to help you out and to trigger the YouTube algorithm.

Today I purchased the Samsung Galaxy A7 at Walmart for $197 for my 4 year old son and he loves it. I was worried it wasn't powerful enough to run the games he likes. He plays Talking Tom and Talking Angela, basic 2D games by today's standards. But remember he's only 4 years old and already pretty advanced in his use of mobile tech. I previously purchased a Lenovo M8 tablet for around $99 but it was terrible, slow as molasses and couldn't even run these 2D games smoothly. I also noticed the GUI would slow down and it just felt slow. So far to my surprise, the A7 hasn't exhibited this behavior.

I thought about returning the A7 for the Lite version but now I'm not so sure considering it is an overall more powerful, louder sounding, and higher resolution tablet. What I may end up doing is finding a used A7 on FB Marketplace or OfferUp and saving a few dollars for a nice case with a built-in kickstand to withstand the inevitable drops by my son.
