Actually Finnish is completely different language than the rest of the Nordic countries. It is closer to Estonian and Hungarian.

Drew is the type of guy to pick Russia when he hears Albanian and say its a slavic language.

14:18 is Bulgarian, not Albanian. The person speaking is our ex-prime minister saying he is happy that he has opened new places for work.

I guess Turkish isn't as common in the US, but as a german, you instantly recognize the sound of it

15:37 Actually it was Russian, not Belorussian. Most people in Belarus speak Russian, so this mistake is not surprising

There was a mistake, it was not Belarusian, but Russian (which is also spoken in Belarus).

Finnish is not germanic (actually only distantly related to hungarian and closely to [edit: Estonian and] some russian minority languages)

(Albanian is not slavic, it is (probably) a language isolate (not related to any other languages))
Edit: It is indo-european but not at all slavic.

Bashkir is a turkic language and not related to russian

This game really need some quality to it:
- At least 10 seconds of constant talking, no long pauses or the audio must be longer
- No echo, no low quality audio, no background noise, no music
- Amplifier and compressor to make the audio the same volume as the rest

Plus then there's the issue of picking country for language. Why not pick language for language?

I would take this game with a grain of salt, because I saw Language Simp’s video on this and someone had marked Romanian as Sundanese.

The thing is, when I went to Albania, the sound of the language made me think of English, Italian and Russian in different times. It definitely has a unique sound which you cannot categorize.
