My mom and dad met in 3rd grade. They started to date in 6th grade. They have now been happily married for 20 years

There is a huge problem with telling young boys it's just "their hormones" and they can't control it. Cause it makes them free of guilt in their mind if they have a bad behavior or act abusive cause they "can't control themselves".

I hate when people say: you are teen, you can't have serious problems, I want to have your problems.
Sorry, but for me it isn't fair.
I have depression (yeah, I went to doctor of mental health & I get medicine). You think when I will be adult it will be funny for me? No, everybody can feel bad, sometimes it's too painfull

But if I always focus on my grades, aren't I missing out many funny memories and experiences in life with my friends?

From a 25 year old here - things won't go as planned. You may mess up at school. You may repeat a class or a year, or be forced to move to another school. I took it very seriously as a personal failure even that big of a deal. IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD IF YOU MESS UP. You learn from it, you grow and the time flows, and as soon as the problem stops being a problem you will smack your head for blowing things out of propotion. Education is important and you should try your best, but it's okay to have some bumps in the road. You're not stupid and you're not a failure. Some things just take more time to learn or need a different approach to understand/memorize them. It took me years to figure out a studying method that works for me and there are still subjects I have problems with, even though I'm one of the better students at my college.
Aaaand a second thing. Don't let fear or anxiety stop you from reaching your goals. I struggled with anxiety since I was a little child (4/5 years old) and I missed on some opportunities because I was afraid to go out there or felt like I don't belong in the group, or I felt like I'm not good enough. The worst thing I was doing was compare myself to other people. Let me quote Markiplier here - "Compare yourself to yourself. To how you've been a day ago, or a year ago." Your perception of people may not be even true. Never let yourself lose opportunities life gives you because you felt lesser than others or were afraid. IT WILL BE SO EMPOWERING WHEN SAID OPPORTUNITY BEARS FRUIT. You'll feel super proud that you did a thing and conquered your fear.
