My youngest was that kid apparently. I always thought he was a difficult student because his grades werent great but SO MANY teachers sought me out to tell me he's their favorite in class. I can see it now that hes older, absolute people person. Hilarious but super respectful and polite. But above all, KIND. So kind. Proud of that goofball.

I’m that kid

I had a gym teacher last year that was awesome. He let me get away with my shenanigans but one day I told him my plan for the last day of school. Before every school break longer than a week me and my friends do something running in the 6th grade hallway. I told this teacher that I wanted to get a banana suit and miracas and go down the hallway and yell “ITS PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME”. This man actually brought me a banana suit the next class with miracas and said have fun. I’m sad because he retired this year

I remembered when I joined our literature subject's zoom link. It was a pretty boring day and it was going to be our last subject. Being out of it as usual, I started singing, "It's time for literature~", but then realized I forgot to turn of my mic. All my classmates laughed at me and our teacher had a big smile on her face. She told me I just made her day, and I felt pretty good despite just embarassing myself HAHAHA Teachers go through a lot honestly. Small things like that can make their day, and I'm kinda happy to say she looked a bit brighter during that session.

Honestly as a teacher if you have relationships with kids like that they’ll remember you for life. The love and energy is definitely returned and the kid will definitely appreciate you!
