Baldur's Gate III - Down By The River

Majestic flute music for venturing down by the river 💧

I spent the past year playing through Baldur's Gate; the music composed by @borislav_slavov was truly incredible! I thought that the main theme would sound great on the simple system wooden flute. An 1800s precursor to the modern flute, it is mostly open holes with only a few keys. This allows for flexibility in pitch bending, a more airy sound, and ability to create notes with a wide range of different musical color. After playing this older flute for the past 7 years I actually prefer it to the modern flute 🙂
