I can barely contain my anger when my holds it down for like 2 seconds instead of pressing it quickly

I just brought one of these. I spent most of the time picking off bits that were stuck to the blade so that I could have another go at chopping them. And it just isn’t sharp enough to chop tomatoes without pulping them. It took me longer to make one tiny salad with Slap Chop than it took to make a big family sized salad with a good kitchen knife. Very inefficient.

Try rotating it yourself and slapping harder, I think it requires a bit of flair

The onion wasn’t cutting because the skin gets left behind and you need to rotate the onion upsidedown

Buy this thing!! Just for the time it saves chopping garlic this thing will add hours and days to your live you would have spent chopping!! Only negative, it will wear out after 2-3 years but after the days of time it saves I find it to be worth replacing. (takes about 10 mins of garlic chopping and turns it into 10 secs.)

I ordered one a few weeks ago and it arrived the other day but the plastic thing that connects the lid/cover to the actual slap chop was cracked so it wasn't as good but apart from that it was pretty good when I was chopping carrots

In every single video review I watch of the slap chop, it never performs as well as when Vince does it in the advert. The only thing i can think of is Vince literally hammers hell out of it, which means the blades cut through really fast. Either that or its good camera trickery lol glad the Graty works man although it seems like it doesn't hold that much cheese. Nice review. I don't think I will be buying one, I just watch the advert as Vince is such a good salesman to watch. The guy could sell dog shit to a park keeper 😂

Good time saver for chopping things like garlic, ginger and herbs. But any cook worth their salt can skin and dice a whole onion in less than 20 seconds.

I also wondered how the blades were rotating? Without the rotation, it's pretty much useless. It seems that was a lie too

i got a slap chop.works great.you do have to slap it..not push it.my 8 year old granddaughter uses it successfully to make icecream toppings from fruit and nuts and cookies.overall i find mine works as good as vince said it would.

the thing does work, you just need smaller pieces and you need to slam down quickly...hard.
