1 a) Physical change
b) chemical change
c) chemical change
d) physical change
2 cooking of food is a chemical change because new substances are formed when food is cooked. Also it is an irreversible change.
3 during physical changes no new substance is formed whereas during chemical changes new substances with entirely new properties are formed. Physical changes are reversible whereas chemical changes are irreversible. There is usually no change of mass during a physical change whereas in a chemical changes there is generally a change in mass

Hii I am your new subscriber! Now The Answers of your questions are -:
Q. 1 - a) boiling of water - physical change
b) rusting of iron - chemical change
c) respiration - chemical change.
d) cutting of wood - physical change
Q. 2 cooking of food is a chemical change because the raw food turns into ripen food and a new substance is formed and it does not go to it's ripen food state.
Q. 3 physical change - 1. No new substances are formed.
2. Energy change small
3. Mass of substance remains same.

Q 1
a - physical change
b- chemical change
c- chemical change
d- physical change
Q 2
Ans cooking of food is a chemical change because it involves the variation in the chemical composition of the material while cooking or the final inference comes out after cooking

Q 3
Ans a - in a chemical change new substance is formed while in a physical change no new substance is formed
b - a chemical change is irreversible whereas a physical change is reversible
c - difference in mass ( chemical change ) no difference in mass of object ( physical change )

Sir Q1 answer is i) boiling of water to form steam is a physical change. passing of electric current, through water and the water breaking down into hydrogen and oxygen gases is a chemical change.
ii) The rusting of iron is a chemical change because it is two substances reacting together to make a new substance. Rusting would only be a physical change if iron molecules remained pure iron throughout the process.
iii)  it is a chemical change because it is taking in oxygen and utilizing it to release energy as energy is released so it is a chemical change. whereas breathing is a physical change as it is just taking in oxygen.
iv)  Cutting of trees is a chemical change since all chemical reactions stop and we cannot get back the original tree from the wooden peacesMelting of butter in a pan is a physical change since there is no change in the chemical composition of butter, only solid to liquid.
Q2answer Cooking of food is a chemical process since it involves changes in the chemical composition of food. Heating food at high temperature and adding additives such as oil, butter, baking powder etc results in the breaking down of chemical substances present in food and formation of new chemical substances.
Q3answer
Sl. No. Differentiating Property Physical Change Chemical Change
1 Explanation In a physical change, the molecules are rearranged while their actual composition remains same. In a chemical change, the molecular composition of a substance completely changes and a new substance is formed.
2 Example Some example of physical change are freezing of water, melting of wax, boiling of water, etc. A few examples of chemical change are digestion of food, burning of coal, rusting, etc.
3 Reversibility Physical change is easily reversible i.e original substance can be recovered. Chemical change is irreversible i.e. original substance cannot be recovered.

Q1.
a.physical change
b.chemical change
c.chemical change
d.physical change

Q2. The cooking of food is a chemical change as the cooked food is irreversible and new substances are formed.

Q3.

Q1.a)Physical Change
b)Chemical Change
c)Chemical Change
d)Physical Change

Q2.Cooking of food is a 'Chemical Change' because, the process cannot be reversed as well as a new substance is formed by combing all the components.

Q3.3 differences between Chemical changes and Physical Changes are:-
i)Chemical changes cannot be reversed whereas, Physical changes are generally reversible.
ii)Chemical changes always result in the formation of a new substance whereas, Physical changes do not result in the formation of new substances.
iii)In Chemical changes, the mass of the substance generally changes but in Physical changes, the mass of the substance remains constant.

Physical change
1.Boiling of water 2. Cutting of wood.
Chemical changes
1. Respiration.
2.rusting of iron.
Q2.cooking of food is a chemical change because a new is formed and it is irreversible.
Q3. Physical changes
1.it is easily reversible.
2. No new substance is formed.
3. The mass remains the same i.e there is no changes in the mass of such substance that under goes the physical change.

Chemical changes.
1. New substance is entirely formed .
2.it is irreversible.
3. There is changes in mass of the substance that undergoes the chemical changes.

1.a)Physical Change
b)Chemical Change
c)Chemical Change
d)Irreeversible Physical Change

2. Yes, Cooking of food is a chemical change as a new substance is formed and the proccess cannot be reversed.

3.Chemical Change
•Irreversible
•New substance is formed
•Mass Changes (without gases counted)
Physical Change
•Usually Reversible
•No new Substances are formed
•Mass doesn't change

Thank you for well explained video!

q1 a physical change because we can bring it back to room temparature by cooling it so its reversible and no new substance is formed
b chemical change because rusting of iron is an irreversible change and a new substance 'rust" is formed
c respiration is a chemical change. Oxygen is taken during the respiration, the output should be also the oxygen in order to make it a physical change. ... That's why it is considered as a chemical reaction where the initial compound is oxygen and final compound is carbon dioxide.
dCutting of wood is a physical change because only physical property of wood is changed and no new substance is formed. the properties of wood remains the same.
Q2 Cooking of food is a chemical process since it involves changes in the chemical composition of food. Heating food at high temperature and adding additives such as oil, butter, baking powder etc results in the breaking down of chemical substances present in food and formation of new chemical substances.
Q3physical changes are reversible and no new substance is formed while chemical changes are irreversible and new substance is formed physical changes are temporary while chemical changes are permanant the mass of a substance which is reversible[physical changes] usually remains same mass of substance which is irreversible [chemical changes] usually changes

1)*Chemical change- rusting of iron, respiration
*Physical change- boiling of water, cutting of wood
2)cooking of food is chemical change because after cooking the raw ingredients or vegetables cannot be regained again.
3) *chemical change- 1)new substance are formed, irreversible
2)mass of substance changes
3) energy changes large
*Physical change-1) no new substances are formed and reversible
2)mass of substance remains same

Q1 a and d are the physical changes and the rest are the chemical changes

Q2 cooking of food in a chemical changes because when the food is cooked it cannot be changed back into its orignal state theta why it is a chemical changes

Q3 Physical changes

1 they are reversible
2 They are temporary
3 and there is no new substance is form

Chemical change is reverse than the physical changes

2.Cooking of Food is Chemical change because the energy increases, mass changes, new substance is formed and it is
irreversible.
3.Physical Change- Chemical Change-
i) No new substance is formed i)New substance is formed
ii)Reversible ii)Irreversible
iii)Temporary change iii)Permanent change

Q. 1. (a)Physical as nothing new is formed.
(b)Chemical as the chemical properties are changed
(c)Chemical as by respiration we break the food by oxygen and form glucose, carbon dioxide and water
with ATP molecules so something new is formed that's why it is a chemical process.
(d)As only the physical properties of it are changed (i.e. Shape here )
Q. 2. Cooking is a chemical process as something new is formed in this process.
Q. 3. 1.Physical changes are usually irreversible and chemical changes are always reversible.
2.New substances are formed in a chemical change and no new substances are formed in a physical change.
3. In a Chemical change more energy is released than a physical change .

1.a) Physical change
1.b) Chemical change
1.c) Chemical change
1.d) Physical change
2. Chemical change. Because heat is being absorbed and produces a new component.
3. Physical change - mostly reversible, does not produce a new substance and temporary.
Chemical change - irreversible, produces a new substance and permanent.
