I am from Kerala. The youth u mentioned - who was killed in the line of control was my aunt’s student in 10th. She was shocked such a good kid ended up like this and later came to know that the kid was taken from his family by people in his community in promise of a job. Neither him or his family had no clue he was getting recruited. This is how most of them get trapped.

The radicalization in Kerala is a true fact, it is very difficult to defend it when you are born in a Muslim family, especially if you're a woman. I have observed some of my family members getting radicalized in a matter of 10 years. Kudos to those who opposed the external pressure, especially my mom. It is mostly funded by Qatar/Saudi and ISI.
