Imagine being fired and knowing you're about to receive $12 million dollars to walk away. Sounds like a dream come true! It's basically a long paid vacation if you play it right, and even more money rolling in if you enter Saban's rehabilitation clinic. And possibly land a better job after your rehabilitation is complete.

The available coaches on the market aren't very talented either. Not a good time to seek a new head coach. Also firing coaches has worse consequences now. You lose more players to the portal and recruits decommit.

Dan Mullen is heading to VT or UW. Calling it. Is he a elite coach, no. Is he a good coach, yes. He could turn VT and Washington into a 10 win or more team. Florida just has different standards.
