a similar situation happened to me, but the opposite way. my boyfriend kept prioritizing his friends over me and yk ofc I was happy for him that he was happy and had those friends he loved to hang out with, but I think that there needs to be balance btwn the two and he always neglected me bc he liked groups of people better. it eventually led to him breaking up with me. Im glad he did though, I was being a pushover and should've done it myself since ik I deserved better, but I just knew I never had the heart to bc of how much I had originally loved him

My “best friend” and I used to hang out all the time! we’d go up to the town multiple times a week chatting and having fun while eating the healthiest sweets ever(this is a joke LOL) and just munch on them while we had a conversation and made jokes. That was fun.
One day, randomly, she was very distant. She’d sometimes respond to me in classes and such since we would get sat together by teachers since we worked well together, but not as much as we had, say, the day before. For the next couple weeks I’d ask every once in a while if she wanted to hangout but she was always busy. I had been left alone in my class after time as no one else wanted to talk to me since she was popular enough within our year. It’s been about 5 months? Because of the summer break anything left of our friendship was disregarded. We went from the best friends who laughed all the time and looked like they had so much fun to the popular girl who everyone loves and just. Me. Im just.. there. No one cares about me nor talks to me.
It hurts but.. it’s probably because of how annoying my voice is.. or maybe my teeth? maybe my hair or maybe just maybe… it’s me entirely. People just.. naturally hate me I guess.
Don’t know what more to say.. recounting it all in this comment had made me feel.. lost. I feel like im a small kid again. I just wanna go back in time to find what I did wrong. She was so fun to talk to, and she was pretty, super funny and just… my best friend. Well, I guess things come to an end? I just wish… I don’t know. I miss having someone to tell everything to.

This reminds me of my bsf who slowly stated forgetting me bc of his new gf. We don't talk nor know each other at all anymore. He also broke up w/ his gf bc she was toxic and manipulative, but it was too late, he lost me. He listened to his gf's lies instead of me, who's been his friend for over a decade. And for all ppl for went through similar situation(s), you're not alone, you have me, who'll support you. And that friend or lover of yours doesn't deserve you.
