I feel inclined to do this just to take apart all the plastic cowling behind the seats just to spray the rear side of those panels with acoustic deadener, in the hopes of eliminating the clicking and rattles that come from behind the seats around the glovebox. It's a great car, but Mazda's never quite gotten a handle on NVH insulation. Similar issues in the Mazda 3. I know they want to save as much weight as possible and keep the car affordable, but it's not worth it if plastic and wiring harnesses rattle against each other. A few ounces of acoustic spray would not be the end of the world, and would make the car feel more upscale.
