This is our family car and boy does it get abused by our two kids. Chewing gum, food, accidents, and everything in between makes this fairly new car look like it went through war zone. Thorough car wash is absolutely necessary to extend the life of all the materials of the car. Dirt and grime will slowly eat away at parts if not taken care of periodically. We love our Subaru but unfortunately they used cheap synthetic leather for the seats that easily rip. The best I could do was patch it up with stickable leather, then cover it up with new seat covers. I was skeptical about the battery powered pressure washer, which lasted the whole car wash to my surprise. The car detailing brush kit was very handy, though I didn't need to use every parts that came in the package. The long handle with washing pads are going to be very useful for next time I wash our RV. Chemical Guys Vinyl, Rubber and Plastic dressing polish is very good. The entire job took me several hours, and overcast weather was perfect for both the wash and my sanity.
