I think that Maria Callas brought to everything she sang a tremendous emotional fervor mated with a natural dramatic soprano used with impressive musicality and a passionate acting instinct that found her fully immersed in every chracter.

In my opinion, Callas is one of the truly magnificent voices of 20th century.
