Opening a 2 year old jar of OCEAN WATER...

I've had this sample of ocean water for more than 2 years - and I thought It would be a great idea to take a look at what might be living in this tiny ecosystem - using a microscope!

I'm not sure if I'm surprised or concerned at what I found...

What do you think?

Your container is air tight
If fresh water floats on salt water use that for a lid as it evaporates recap it

I’ve had a jar of ocean water, sand, and seashells (gave one to my bf too, he hasn’t seen the ocean yet) for over a year, nearly two. And it doesn’t look like that at all.. 😭
