The problem with this assessment is that Congress is least interested in the nation. Congress today wants to form a british style defeatist and self hating identity that seeks to liquidate India, and then lap up its remnant parts for power. Modi is a saffron socialist, and instead of taking a more assertive capitalist stance, Congress instead wants to pain him as pro-rich which is not the case. This is bad overall because BJP so leftist now, that the only space left for opposition is to go full commie. My prediction is that only a party that supports capitalism openly and criticizes BJP's anti-business, anti-MSME, anti-taxpayer policy, is the party that will win the hearts of a new more educated India. I see AAP as a decent alternative, specially with Kejri and Siso saying "we dont want job seekers in delhi, we want job creators", such a statement in India is not easy to make, but can only be made by someone that realizes that free market capitalism is the only way ahead and socialism is a scam. Congress is finished and can only serve to poison the well further, there is nothing constructive left.

Prashanth Kishore is correct in his analysis. I appropriate him.what he says 100%correct.Congress lacks it.Alone it can't achieve anything.
