How to Unzip Files in Google Drive

How to unzip files in Google Drive? In this tutorial, I show you how to open zip files within Google Drive. This mean you can extracted the files from a Zip file in Google Drive without having to download it first. To unzip files in Google Drive we use a a free tool called Zip Extractor. Zip Extractor allows us to unzip ZIP, RAR, 7-Zip (.7z), TAR, GZIP (.gz), BZIP2 (.bz2), LZIP (.lz), and XZ (.xz) files in Google Drive.

Follow the steps below to unzip files in Google Drive:
1. Open Google Drive and file the zip file you want to unzip or extract.
2. Select the 3 vertical dots on the file.
3. In the menu select Open With then select Zip Extractor.
4. Select Authorize Zip Extractor.
5. In the new popup select your Google Drive account.
6. Select Allow to give Zip Extractor access to your Google Drive account.
7. Select Extract to Drive.
8. The files will then we unzipped into your Google Drive account.

I would really greatly appreciate it if you can respond, I have plans to open a Etsy shop and will be using Google Drive to send large PDF and JPG prints. Will my customers be able to only Print!!! and NOT Edit the file I send them through Google Drive. I tested it and a message " Couldn't preview file, there was a problem with the preview' but it suggested third -party apps and Zip Extractor was an option. Thank you

zip extractor extraction is really slow especially for big files and the fact that it extracts on a server not on a local machine and still takes long is annoying
