What can you power with a 100 watt solar panel and 1 battery?

As folks say it is better to run a solar system at low voltages rather than using an DC to AC inverter converting up to 120V. Run everything at 12V DC and use buck converters for lower voltage applications such as USB charging at 5V. With 100W solar system it would be possible to run a Raspberry Pi computer with large HDMI monitor and router set up. Also easy to charge and power laptops with that rig too. You should build 2 water tanks and use the unused power to pump water up the tank and generate power at night when it comes down to the reservoir tank.

So many have way to high expectation from their single 100w panel not realizing that 100w is something you only get about 5 hours at the middle of the day if you are lucky... I use my one 100w panel to keep the start battery of my campervan topped up ;) For the camper part i have 1280w flat monted panels combined with 5000 watt hours of lithium battery storage.

that is a good setup for learning, best to go overkill on wires and charge controllers, then you can up grade more panels without having to buy a whole new system

I'm not sure of the wattage on that panel, my 100w is much bigger, and outputs around 20V at 5amps. Also it looks like the battery may be weak as fast as it was dropping, my fan barely is a load on the battery and have ran one all night on a battery a 1/4 the size. Possibly the solar charge controller is limiting the power, maybe look into a MPPT one, they tend to be more efficient at charging the battery.

I just hooked it up in my house to make my meter run backwards who needs a battery if you producing power make your power meter go backwards man I think this month I only paid $480 for electricity but I live in Illinois you know so prices are really high no food on the shelves it's either starve or keep yourself warm what's your choice

🤔YOU really do need at 1000 w converter or mower plus two 12-volt led cell batteries turn the batteries into 48 volts always keep any battery in a ventilated area NEVER overcharge any batteries NEVER overcharge any batteries OVER 15 .A.C amps.
