I use Synology but I only 54TB. I don't understand the "security" issue that some mention, more details would be helpful.

Love the idea of NAS but very suspicious of Ugreen as a company. The NAS you’re pitching is also only available via kickstarter, as far as I can tell, and then ONLY to USA and Germany. Worth pointing out before people back it based on your recommendation. (Not dissing the rec, even if it’s paid promotion, just a little buyer beware)

I produce about 4TB of still images in a year's time. I back them up in triplicate on different drives. Too much data. 😂

If you could install better software on this (freeNAS) then it might be a decent product. Few of the YouTubers actually talk about the software issues.

Slower and massive security risk. Dont use a NAS unless you have multiple PCs
