This is the best version of don’t cry I’ve ever heard, axel’s voice is so pure and haunting .I’d love for them to release a cd of just their early demo’s just to hear how clear axl’voice was, just beautiful.

it's 1985. recorded in Mystic Studio in 1985 along with WTTJ, Think About You, Back Off and Anything Goes. This version is in standard tuning. In 1987 GN'R played Eb Tuning

The guitar solo sounds fantastic in that key. I do like the key change that happens in the record version. Because it adds a lot of dramatic affect to song and Axl absolutely crushes it. This is amazing as well. One of their best songs for sure.
