2022 Austin City Council Candidate Forum — District 1

Ahead of early voting for this November's elections, KUT and the Austin Monitor will host forums with the candidates running for five seats on the Austin City Council.

Knowing a couple of the candidates personally, and knowing them both to be good people, both with positions I like and dislike, this election I'll face a tough choice.
Then add the 2 I'd not before heard of — thank you for naming them and for the debate overall, @kutaustintx! — now looks like there's homework to do since I reside in District 1.

Clinton's favorite place in District 1 is his backyard because he just arrived in Austin from California and knows very little about this city.
