Acquiring a Good GPS Signal with APEX Pro

The best way to establish a quality GPS signal is to connect to your APEX Pro, Calibrate it, ensure the proper track is selected, then tap "Open Lap Timer" then "Start." Do this before leaving your paddock spot enroute to the grid.

This gives the GPS chip and antennae in the unit plenty of time to find satellites in the sky.
