I experienced that for Spanish ladies flirting in general (and communicating with men) is much more natural and with a little cheekiness you can enchant them. And they really well-versed in signaling whether you can step one forward, or you reached a line you shouldn't cross. And in general they do not pay much significance on the appearance, I think manners matter more. (Or maybe I was just lucky :) )

Once I saw a beautiful lady at a crossroad and we had a red lamp.
