Simple, sensible, quality parts, exceptional workmanship, and overall - so practical and functional. The result is greater than the sum of the parts. A sad day for those of us who own Hiluxes, Prados, Fortuners, and Hiaces with 1GD engines. We really appreciated all this information, which was very useful for us, and which we will probably receive in smaller quantities after the sale of your vehicle, considering that, as I have heard in your videos, you don't like to service 1GD engines in your workshop.
In several videos you have told us to avoid the 1GD engine; however, outside of Australia in various parts of the world this engine is very reliable, since we receive it with the Euro 4 emissions standard (the same as the last 1KD that arrived in Australia), which makes it a less complex and more reliable engine by not having a DPF and thanks to this, avoiding a good part of the oil contamination problem, which has caused problems in the timing chains, problems that in other parts of the world do not occur or are very rare. This channel, which has many users from many parts of the world, taught us a lot to all these users, who want to continue giving the best maintenance to our 1GDs.
