Awesome video! More soft jaw videos would be greatly appreciated. Also setting up fixture plates and different methods to configure them would be amazing. Really difficult to find interactional videos on fixture plates. Thanks! Great content!!

That was a fantastic instructional video.
Learned so much in addition to the soft jaws including the way to select geometry by dragging the rectangles right or left.
PLEASE MAKE THE PROPOSED ADDITIONAL VIDEOS.
All very helpful and clearly and succinctly stated.
THANK YOU !

Hey Kevin another fantastic video and so clear on the instructions. I will certainly put my hand up high and ask for the other Soft jaw options in future videos. I am constantly searching YouTube for fixture style videos to help me learn the various ways. I would love to see one involving pocket and using mightybite grips

Matching radii in the soft jaw and the part can be difficult. If the radius in the fixed jaw is smaller than the radius in the part, the location will be shifted (in Y). If the radius in the fixed jaw is larger than the radius is the part, locating in X will be at the 'apex' of the circle. This may not provide the best clamping and also a shift in Y. The jaw could wear-in over time but this would have a migrating Y shift.
Maybe use the angled planar face and the face perpendicular to the soft jaw as locating/clamping features and add clearance for the radius features.

Nice tip about using negative stock to remain in CAM to get a little clearance.

Awsome vid, I would love to see the setup. I run into problems because fusion thinks there's stock in the soft jaws gap.

Hi, when I project my part on to soft jaws and want to extrude it marks all soft jaw surface ignoring projected lines. What might be the issue?
