Jinnah was a strong nationalist and ambassador of hindu muslim unity in the beginning, but in a later stage, after Lahore resolution was passed, the sole purpose of his life was to partition of India and creation of Pakistan. Dr.Istiaq Ahmad has established this fact in his book, while Ayesha Jalal argued that till the end Jinna did not want partition. But Dr.Istiaq Ahmed defeated her argument beyond doubt.

Very nice video. Really appreciate Zeeshan Ali’s point of view. Partition is a fact of history and while we can only now only discuss and imagine ‘what if’ India remained united, ‘we can’ still improve relations between the two nations. Like Zeeshan expressed in a another video, it is tragic today, that the British who divided the subcontinent can still move freely across countries, while we the inheritors of a shared heritage can only struggle to see the ‘other side’.

mahatma Gandhi never played religion card. He, Nehru, Sardar were imprisoned by Britishers. Zinah and Muslim League never went to jail

Once brothers shared a sacred soil,

Jinnah’s voice, with its silvered sting,
Promised peace, yet clipped the wing.
Lines on maps, drawn in haste,
Carved through lives, laid to waste.

Lahore wept, Delhi mourned,
Homes abandoned, families torn.
The train of death, its ghastly tale,
Carried whispers of a humanity’s fail.

Children cried in fear’s embrace,
Mothers prayed for a safer place.
What god, they asked, would demand this pain,
For borders etched in death’s refrain?

And still the fire rages on,
In memories of the land they’d gone.
A legacy of a choice once made,
In blood-stained history, cruelly played.

Jinnah's dream, some say, was bright,
But darkness followed his chosen fight.
A lesson carved in every heart,
That unity, once broken, tears apart.

So hear the cries of those who bled,
Remember the tears that were silently shed.
Let not ambition’s cruel decree,

Yes 1936 Congress govt of Congress frightened Muslims of north India and deep into psyche of Muslims, forced to think over the counter strategy and cabinet mission plan seemed close to satisfy their aspirations but the option of leaving the loose federation was categorically rejected by Nehru which forced Jinnah to withdraw his approval for the plan but no any solid guarantees could be offered by congress thus no option was left for Jinnah except to revive his earlier demand of Pakistan so failure to stop division of India solely lies on the shoulders of congress leaders
