Never thought I'd see someone crowd surfing to a Satriani record.

Just think about it. The drummer (Marco Minemann) was playing with Necrophagist about 10 years before this performance

I just notticed Marco was the one playing the drums, that's why the song was sounding better than usual, he's an amazing drummer.

I never get tired of this song, jam, whatever you want to call it. Love that tapping passage!

I got an opportunity to play a song with Marco at the Island Way Clearwater. Roaring Thunder on the Drums. Played a Santana tune. He looked over at me and said. You Killed It. How can you not forget that?🤗

So I saw Joe in Concord California years ago before the show we took some mescaline and well I guess I was head bopping, so somewhere through the show I hear the kid behind me say this dude in front of us never
misses a beat with that I remember thinking to myself first thing is I better stop bopping my head I must look like an idiot second thing I've studied Joes music over and over thousands and thousands of hours listening to the same song to know every single note so it dawned on me that Joe and the band never missed a note either .Ive seen Joe four or five times and it's like they're robots they never miss a beat or a note !!! truly unique musicians !!
And thank you Joe & the gang for some great shows and countless hours of enjoyable music to listen to and to help get the ugly shit thats in my head out. 😎😷

That was a brave move of him to shave his head. It was the creation of a character with his bad ass guitars and a style of his own.

Joey is the master, taught via and hammet. Love surfing to this day probably the best guitar instrumental albums of all time

The guitar got brought to its height. And there was nowhere left to go. Hence, Grunge.
