That is actually good for Xiaomi's first flip, we can't criticize the first product of a category of any company, hope Xiaomi will improve the 2nd one.

This is one of these phones that would have benefitted from a slower but less hot chip. Theres this phenomenon where when the cooling is bad, a slower chip might give you better sustained performance than a high end one.

Xiaomi did a amazing job with this release; the phone is impressive and I would buy it easily. The main issue for many Chinese manufacturers is having a global accessory portfolio and international releases. Living in the West, I often see this mentioned in reviews. I also miss having other brands, aside from Xiaomi, that offer fitness bands, Android Wear smartwatches, and headphones with exclusive functions when used with their devices. Additionally, a computer mode on more powerful devices and tablet's would be appealing. Addressing these points could lead to great success in Europe and Latin America. If the US imposes unfair blockades like with Huawei, do the same, implement fees and restrictions, to me, it's fair. The key is to improve integration and develop a strong, cohesive ecosystem similar to Apple's and Samsung's.
