Foton Philippines took us to Changsha City China to see and drive the 2024 Foton Tunland V9, which is Foton's full size truck. In this Filipino car review, we take a quick look at the incoming 20224 Foton Tunland V9 which may be renamed as the 2024 Foton Thunder V9 here in the Philippines. The 2024 Foton Tunland V9 is longer than the Ford Ranger Raptor, while the Foton Tunland V7 is even bigger than the Ford Ranger Raptor and is already the size of the Ford F-150. We can expect to see the 2024 Foton Thunder V9 on Philippine shores by February 2024, when Foton holds their annual Big Show.

It's good that cargo is 800kg. Plus the passengers so total payload may be at 1.1 tons.
Towing cap is not quite focused in Ph anyway.

Isn't it a little underpowered? The power figures are for the size of midsized trucks in PH. But this is a full size one. Heavier assumingly.

They at least tried to make the front not a complete copy of the RAM, mostly just the headlights, a little bit of the Tundra and the front fenders of a Nissan Titan. But the rear is almost a 99.97% copy of the F150. The interior is very nice, but only 170 ps in a full size? Though it's clearly not a full size, especially with the rear passenger's hair touching the headliner. A 6 ft tall man sitting at the rear of a real full size would have many inches to spare.
