The difference in 2014-2020 was Michael Schumacher and Ross Brawn, who developed the car from 2010-2013. Now Mercedes has no one who can develop the car. This is the biggest issue Mercedes has. The No pod design should have only lasted 1 race, before drivers should have scratched that. However, the driver/engineer/ designer mix at Mercedes lacks some critical factor not yet understood. Wolff cannot help in this regard as he has no real background for this.

Toto wolf must have an extremly poor memory as he signed that engine freeze, to so called benefit mercedes . And must haver forgotten the shinanigens of 2021 mercedes pulled . verry convienent red flags caused by mercedes driver Bottas en Mercedes client driver russel . When hamilton crashed at imola, putting him back in the race, with a repaired car, or Bottas knocking out Norris, perez and verstappen in hungary . with damaged cars . Bottas team orders to let hamilton pass. on several occasions and the suspiciously fast call of an email send seconds after Hamilton almost killed verstappen at silverstone and only getting a 10 second penalty . ( disqualification was in order ) somehting that was planned from the beginning, a suspicous wheel beeing stuck on bottas car at monaco giving a few extra points to hamilton . And the over use of engines that season turning them all the way up negating the purpose of 3 engine limmet.
