Very true. Learned this in the 58D. Now I'm flying L.E. 58 Alpha Chucks in/near a busy, tower controlled/classD airport with a large flight school. Thank goodness for ADS-B, much easier to keep up with all the "student traffic" in my AO.

Excellent video. One of the best aids I got when pursuing my IFR ticket was getting the chance to sit in on the local TRACON and watching them work traffic.

From that experience it became MUCH easier for me to build that mental map needed for IFR flight by knowing how the controllers built their own mental map.

It allowed me to be ahead of the controller 95% of the time, simply by listening to what they were telling other airplanes.

Merry Christmas! Thanks for this! When I fly DCS I try to practice altitude discipline because I know real pilots are always aware of their altitude and where they need be.

I'm curious, which module are you looking forward to the most/think you'll fly more with. The Kiowa or Apache? Granted the Kiowa will likely be out before the Apache but I'm just curious which one you'd enjoy more in DCS?
