The 2023 CT regular season is finished and Teahupo’o provided the platform for a dramatic climax with Caroline Marks and Jack Robinson etching their names in Tahitian history. It was all-or-nothing for Robinson, taking on fellow Final 5 hopeful Gabriel Medina in a surf off to see who clinched the last remaining spot. Robinson’s remarkable comeback earned him a maiden Tahiti title and a spot back into the Rip Curl WSL Finals. For Marks, it was an all-American battle against fellow World Title contender Caitlin Simmers to cap off an incredible season as she now fights for her first World Title in the Final 5 era. The last Finals Day also witnessed the remaining Final 5 spots locked in with João Chianca earning his place for a World Title hunt after watching all the action unfold. Now, the Rip Curl WSL Finals seeding is complete and 2023 World Champions await crowning at Lower Trestles September 8 – 16.
