How to Create Multiboot Linux USB Installer

If you like me and install a lot of different operating systems, whether its Windows or Linux. The process to create a new bootable flash drive can be tedious at times. That's where muti-booting USB flash drives come in handy. I will be using Yumi to show you how to install all your favorite Linux distributions on one flash drive. By doing this, it will let you boot to that flash drive and select the operating system you want to install.

Easy2boot can do a lot more - it can boot nearly everything from one usb stick. (Mine contains DLCD, HBCD, kaspersky resc. disc, TRK, memtests, 4 linux distros, all windows install disks from w7-w10 with unattended xmls, acronis boot disc, konboot, etc..) Definitely you have to check this project :)

A few days ago I made a bootable Flash Drive with Linux, Antiviruses and Utilites and all this with YAMI utility! Great video, as usual!

Yep i think i have the yumi prep program, there are all sorts out there but some are only good for certain types, so i tend to collect a few different types :-D

Win-to-flash
Pe-to-usb
Xboot
Rufus
Win-to-bootic
Rm-prepusb
Iso-to-usb.
And there is Easytoboot, but i find that a bit long winded lol.

tried to put linux lite on the stick but it wouldn't go
because it was not in the yumi drop down list it wouldn't see it
so they didn't match
i suppose if i renamed it to match it may have worked

Perhaps a silly question, but here goes.. I watched your vid on making a persistent USB install (using peppermint). Could you not make multiple boot persistent installs by adding multiple partitions on the USB, and installing them the same way? Or does grub not install on or load up from USB?

Ubuntu 18.04 user here - I have been trying to make one multiboot USB drive since many days with just fails and nothing else! Both Windows apps via Wine and Linux apps are not working properly, even the popular ones. Some does not open only…Some does not recognize USB drives…Some needs only FAT32 (no support to NTFS) USB drives…Some support only making a single bootable USB device and that too does not work properly like Windows apps in Windows! What to do?
