The rest were pronounced like she'd never heard English before, which I know isn't Japanese-native speakers have to break themselves of putting a phantom vowel sound after the last consonant of words, and Sui should know I don't where the drilling in English pronunciation that her grandmother gave her went there.

We don't add "o" to the end of everything in English, though. It's not "skillet-o, " it's "Skillet." And that book one looked like a book SPINE not spin! Cute af, but honestly probably not a great way to teach English. Her "Engrish" pronunciation probably helps, though. Where she was like, "Su'pin" or whatever for spin... but the problem is that's a spine...
